The H4000 is a Woltmann type horizontal meter designed for installation where occasional low and moderate to high sustained steady flows are required. Accuracy is maintained in the direct and reverse flow directions and there are several pulse log / generator options to suit the application. The meter should only be used with cold potable water up to 120 ° F (50 ° C) and working pressure up to 230 psi (16 bar). The meter will operate with an accuracy record of 100% +/- 2% within the normal flow. Pressure loss and precision tests are performed before shipment. No adjustment is necessary before installation. The H4000 is available in several different sizes from 1½ “to 12” that cover a wide range of flow rates for accurate measurement of cold drinking water.
