ABB V18345-2027421001 Electro-Pneumatic Positioner
ABB’s TZIDC Intelligent Series, also known as “smart” positioners, brings together high accuracy, versatile control capabilities, and effortless commissioning using the auto-stroke functions. The TZIDC is ideally suited for mounting on control valves with rotary actuators using standard Namur mounting hardware, but it’s also compatible with linear control valves. Optional features include a gauge block and analog/digital feedback.
The standard model TZIDC-100 (V18345) is equipped with HART communication and Profibus. For more specialized applications, the TZIDC-110 (V18346) offers Profibus connectivity, while the TZIDC-120 (V18347) comes with Fieldbus capabilities. The TZIDC can be configured for both single and double-acting actuators and offers fail-safe options (open or close) or fail-freeze (hold last position).
The TZIDC’s fully automatic determination of control parameters and adaptation to the final control element significantly reduces setup time and enhances control performance.
This positioner is suitable for use in both general-purpose and hazardous areas, with intrinsically safe barriers available. It holds FM/CSA and ATEX approvals.
The positioner features a built-in operating panel with a 2-line LCD display and four operating buttons for easy commissioning, configuration, and live operation monitoring. Alternatively, users can utilize the appropriate configuration program via the available communication interface.
