ABB TZIDC-200 Explosion-Proof Positioner

The ABB TZIDC-200 series is designed for applications requiring explosion-proof enclosures. It inherits the precision and adaptability of the TZIDC Intelligent Positioner series, offering high accuracy and easy commissioning with auto stroke functions.
Three Models for Diverse Needs:
- TZIDC-200 (V18348): Standard performance with flameproof enclosure, 4-20 mA with HART communication.
- TZIDC-210 (V18349): Standard performance with flameproof enclosure, PROFIBUS PA communication.
- TZIDC-220 (V18350): Standard performance with flameproof enclosure, FOUNDATION Fieldbus communication.
Just like the TZIDC, the TZIDC-200 is ideal for rotary actuators using standard Namur mounting hardware and can also be used for linear valves. It offers options like a gauge block and analog/digital feedback. The standard model includes HART communication, while Profibus and Fieldbus options are also available. The TZIDC-200 supports both single and double-acting actuators, with fail-safe (open or close) and fail-freeze (hold last position) functionalities.
The TZIDC-200 can be safely used in hazardous areas without the need for intrinsically safe barriers. It holds FM/CSA and ATEX approvals. The TZIDC-200 in a hazardous enclosure is suitable for FM/CSA Class 1, Div. 1, Group C-D (explosion-proof), ATEX Ex II 2 G EEx d IIC T4, T5, T6, and more.
